Teams
The Academy Ultimate is a Kitchener-Waterloo based open touring club, which pulls talent from all over south western Ontario. We attend one to two tournaments a month, with the goal of sending a squad to CUC, in August. The goal for this year is to continue building fundamentals from previous seasons and to build higher level ultimate in the KW area.
Maverick is the Academy Ultimate competitive team. Focused on patient offence and grinding teams down with intense defence. Fostering a positive team culture that pushes individual growth and development to become the best team possible. Competing in both Canada and United States tournaments, Maverick has an intense schedule to build team chemistry and personal abilities.
Maverick is looking for players that want to contribute to the team's competitiveness and positive team culture.
Goose is the Academy Ultimate development team. Here players will refine and develop a deeper understand of the fundamentals of Ultimate, gaining valuable experience through practice, tournaments and scrimmages. Practicing along side Maverick, players will have ample opportunity to play against top players. Goose has produced many players who have gone onto play with Maverick and other competitive touring teams in Ontario.
Goose is looking for players who are looking to improve their ultimate skills in a fun and development focused environment.
